INTERCITY BUS TERMINUS

At 37 acres (150,000 m.sq.) the Chennai Mofussil
Bus Terminus in Chennai, India is the largest bus
station in Asia. As of 2010 the terminus handled
more than 500 buses at a time, and 250,000
passengers a day. Even CMBT could not handle
the population of travellers from Chennai. The
goverment has proposed an alternate bus terminus
location at Vandlur, Chennai for the Inter city
travel. The design demands a soution for current
population explosion, and future expexctation of
passengers.
